HOW TO USE
LANDSCAPE LEGAL SIZE PAPER
With the extra length compared to letter size paper, legal size paper have now become a very common paper size used in offices and other places. If you think the extra 3 inches in length is useful in the portrait format, then the extra workspace offered when in the landscape format is even better. While the extra width is still 3 inches, in the landscape format, it can seem a lot more. First off you are able to fit longer tables with more data. Then you can also use larger charts and graphs to illustrate what the data is trying to tell you. The extra width does wonders in providing more spaces so that more information can be displayed in one single paper, instead of two which happens a lot if you are using letter size paper.
GENEALOGY DOCUMENTS
The perfect example to illustrate our point on having more space is better is how most genealogy documents are now in legal size paper. A lot of genealogy documents are basically family trees that shows how one generation links to the next one and these family trees tend to expands sides way just as much as it moves downward as generations grow.
